The author at Summathetes presented an article titled ‘Holding Up One Another’ recently. He always delivers challenging and encouraging work, but for those who don’t follow his site, I wanted to link you to this post. It is well worth the read. Here is a line from the blog.

“Only one who has the issue of worth resolved and has nothing to prove and nothing to lose can be sincerely delighted in the good of another.”

“And that is so like Jesus!”

You can read the article here. Wow!

A very worthy goal: becoming lost to self so that we are expending not one whit of soul or heart energy on “proving” anything about ourselves! Such freedom to celebrate the rest of God’s children!

  2. Really enjoyed the article. Thanks for sharing the link.
