None of my exclaimed pleadings had any effect on the lady staring at me across the counter. “I’m sorry sir, but your traffic violations have exceeded what’s allowed in this state,” she answered with no emotion.
“Isn’t there anything I can do? Don’t you offer some special license for those with heavy boots and soft accelerator pedals? Can’t you make an exception this time?”
