When in Canada… speak French

The latest in from Canada! Matt, Gayle, Ezra, Thea, and Hosanna are there learning the French language as they prepare to carry the gospel of Jesus Christ into Senegal, Africa (Yes, the photo is from Africa… not Canada). Thanks for sharing with us good friends!
Greetings from Canada and language school! Please take a few minutes to read our update and check out the pictures to see what has been going on with our family over the past two months.
Please know that we are praying for you as you pray for and support our family and ministry. We are incredibly thankful to have you as a valuable part of our team. Please feel free to forward this e-mail along to those who may be interested in our ministry and do not hesitate to print it out and share it with your church, small group, or Sunday school class. And please let us know if you have any questions or if there are ways that our family can be in prayer for you.
Also, though we are in Canada we have had the opportunity to SKYPE with some congregations in the US to update them on our ministry. Please let us know if we can serve your church, small group, or VBS in this way as we would love the opportunity to encourage you with what God is doing in our lives and ministry as we prepare to serve in Senegal.
Thank you again and please feel free to send us an e-mail if there is ever a way that we can serve you as you faithfully serve alongside us!
In Christ,
The Boyd Family

KingdomofGodservantv4: Our family is in Sherbrooke, Quebec about an hour north of the Vermont line. We arrived here on New Year’s Eve and will be here until December learning French for our ministry. Thanks for the question and the interest!

“God is pursuing with omnipotent passion a worldwide purpose of gathering joyful worshipers for Himself from every tribe and tongue and people and nation. He has an inexhaustible enthusiasm for the supremacy of His name among the nations. Therefore, let us bring our affections into line with His, and, for the sake of His name, let us renounce the quest for worldly comforts and join His global purpose.” — John Piper. The Boyd Family has joined our enthusiastic God on His mission though the nations…how fun it is to join them through prayer and/or financial support. This is the grandest adventure!! Woo-Hoo!!!!!
