If there’s a serious problem I have (don’t kid yourself mt, you have a plenty… just go ask your wife), it’s my mastering of the ability to frown upon the sins of others while comfortably basking in my own.
Unfortunately, this just won’t do. God has called His people to be a holy people… so much so that He sent His only begotten Son to make it possible.
What I’m really good at though is consigning myself a religiously-holy existence so I can sneer extra hard at the sinful lifestyles of those in my midst. It seems old Lot was pretty good at that too. Cringing at the sins of others, yet doing little, if anything at all, to show them the path to freedom.
Humor me by reading a little more about this here.
