Learning to Get Messy for Jesus

Folks, if you haven’t caught this series going on over at “Reinventing the We’ll,” you really should take a moment and walk through it. The series is titled “The Glory of the Story.” Here is an excerpt from part eight.

[I took the money out. David pushed his finger in front of me. He said, “I don’t want your money. I want this Jesus, the One you were talking about, because I’m not going to make it. I’m going to die on the street.”]

It appears that every direction I turn these days, I’m being confronted with the question, “Are you abiding in Me? Or am I simply something you’ve tacked on to your pleasant and comfortable life?”
