We read of Jesus’ encounter with the woman caught in the act of adultery (John 8) and our nature refuses to let the text stand for what it is.
Jesus declares, “Neither do I condemn you.”
The words from this text are a proclamation of one who has granted the ultimate gift to the undeserving. Isn’t it easy though to hear His next words, “Go and sin no more,” and attach a condition to His forgiveness? Will you join me for a couple of moments at ChristianBlessings as I try to weed through the preconceptions of my human nature and bring the un back where it belongs; to unconditional grace.

God bless you! Thank you for following back 🙂 Take care!
Good point. All too easy to embrace the “go and sin no more” part.
I just recently taught that story myself: http://youtu.be/pkspuQ1e6t8?t=5m53s
Thanks, and we will check out your link. Blessings sir.
Excellent presentation of an excellent truth. This has the good bones for a more extensive work…I would love to read more regarding each facet. Hope to see you develop it. Book? It reminds me that Grace comes in thought the cracks…of which I have many.
Ah, it is indeed “Book” inspired. Someone is going to have to write something some kind of spectacular to knock this one off my #1 for 2014 list. It is Tulian Tchividjian’s “One Way Love.” I’m looking forward to sharing more from its gold as I’m about a week out from being able to begin sharing of a recent journey into a distant land. 🙂 Many blessings to you today my gracious friend and Sister.
Like this a lot!
Thanks greatly for the encouragement Carley! Back from our journey, looking forward to getting into your latest. Blessings good friend!
Thanks Michael – I hope you enjoy it. I start a new one April 1st !
